AN/Warnings: Why? Because it's 9:30 in the morning, and I didn't sleep and I work at 5. And I decided to stem the random hyperness that comes with that level of awakefulness into fic.

Response to Weekly Drabble Challenge # 11 at [livejournal.com profile] doctor_donna. Prompt was RECKLESS.


Donna was singing in the shower. Not that unusual of an activity, one might think. However, what she was singing was a song by the Backstreet Boys.

All you people can't you see, can't you see
How your love's affecting our reality

This did not make the Doctor very happy.

"Donna!" he cried, banging on the washroom door, "Donna, stop it!"

He heard her laugh through the door, and the singing went even louder.

Every time we're down
You can make it right
And that makes you larger than life

He banged again, "Donna! Please! Late 90s pop music is not good for Time Lord ears! You're being very reckless with your friends health!"

The music just went louder.

The Doctor gave it up as a lost cause. He knew how stubborn Donna could be. Now his only hope was that the TARDIS would take pity on him and keep the noise muffled as he went to the library.

If anything, she amplified it. For being his ship, she sure spent more time making Donna comfortable than him.

All of your time spent keeps us ali-e-i-e-i-e-ive...
